I’m going to write those lines to everyone still believes In humanity , my story happens in Qatar where I’ve been living since 2010.
let me introduce myself I’m Ahmed a black Egyptian in the middle of the third decade who grows up in African country where it’s a kinda struggle to be black there , after my graduation I decided to start my career as an engineer so Qatar was my destination as my father used to work there since 1980.
It was a great experience for me not just to gather money but connecting with humans from different parts of the world .
One day in 2018, I was hanging out in a bar with my friends kinda tipsy and dancing while I approached that black girl Who was swaying in the corner by herself it was a strange moment as there were forces pushing me to start a conversation with her and I started a conversation with her.
she was an American girl from Dr. King state Georgia who works as a health worker ( respiratory therapist) in Doha .
we danced all night I dropped her home after that and we started to date from that night .
I thought that a special girl even though she doesn’t have that standard beauty but I saw her from within.
we were having a good time together I was thinking about developing something more than dating life, even we travelled to Seychelles after few months from our meeting .
we’ve been dating for almost a year , during that time I felt like it’s gonna be an ordinary relationship not a special one as one day she was receiving a message from a dating app I used to be on for a while so I told myself that relationship will be all about having good time nothing more even though I didn’t comment about that situation and didn’t ask her why would you be on such apps while we’re having such connection together.
After that I started to swipe on those apps while we are together until that day she came to ask me why I’m on dating apps and matching up with her coworker ( I didn’t know they are coworkers) , I saw that as a chance to break up with her and letting her feel that she’s right and not letting her know it was a result for her actions so I decided to break up on silence and that was just before pandemic spread .
After break up she was in touch with me even she came over to my place during quarantine time as both we were working that time and we were considered a front-liners during the pandemic for her as healthcare worker and for me as I was engaged with major projects related to upcoming World Cup.
In September 2020 , it was her birthday so I met her for dinner and we went to her place after that where we had an argument since I told her that I know whom you’re dating and I commented about her attitude meeting multiple men at once since that time we didn’t talk to each other anymore.
In August 2021 , she contacted me to let me know that she’s in United States and coming back to Doha to work in one of the reputed universities as a teaching assistant that time I was spending my holiday in Egypt, she asked me to bring her a birthday gift when I get back to Doha , when I get back in October 2021 we met and I gave her her gift and souvenirs from Egypt , in November 2021 she asked me to meet up after that i dropped her home and we had unprotected sexual intercourse that time I noticed a physical change in her body but I didn’t pay attention to that , i ejaculated using my hand after that then we slept next day we did it again and I ejaculated using my hand at the end and that happens on November 13th 2021. She texted me the next day trying to meet up again but I preferred not to meet up .
Three weeks later, she called me asking to bring a pregnancy test and meet-up at her place , I got the kits and met her she told me that she’s pregnant and the baby is mine 100%with no doubts , that time I never thought she’d lie about something like that and believed that a miracle happened when we did it the next day .
We decided to get married as I’d never abort my kid since I wouldn’t survive with guilt, we travelled to Georgia The country to get married there.
While we’re there I went through her phone and I found out that she was chat with someone the same day she was asking me to meet up after I spent the night at her place and we had a fight that time and I reminded her about what happened in her birthday in 2020 .
We got back to Qatar, she kept confirming that the baby is mine and she hasn’t been with anyone since her last period, after that we attested the marriage certificate and checked the hospital for the first time in 11 January 2022 .
After the doctor checked the baby’s growth and the biometric measures she told us that the baby on the eleventh week of pregnancy and if we assumed the pregnancy happened the same day when met the baby should be on the ninth week and I didn’t comment about that.
The whole pregnancy time she was creating problems and my life with her was a living hell .
One time she told me about one of her seniors at the university whose living in the fancy lagoon area in Doha that she’s powerful and having many connections and told me that she told her you’ll get the baby no matter what happens and she’s supporting her , I don’t know if that was a threatening or just stupidity maybe she was trying to let me know that someone inside the country got her back . I believe that this lady is one of the Canadians from the former College of North Atlantic Qatar as they were here for almost 2 decades and you can imagine the level of connection inside the country she got to give such promise !
One of the things during pregnancy she loved watching their court shows on Netflix and also she wanted us to watch that Egyptian series on Netflix called newton’s cradle where an Egyptian family were trying to deliver their kids in the United States , and I believe that she was trying to send me hidden messages all the time.
Plus that she used to get to know about some things I’ve never told her about .
our last argument was 3 months before the delivery time when she was pushing me to tell my family about the baby but I decided to not let them know until the baby is here and I see her .
On 24th July , Georgia came to world and she didn’t look like me even we hired a doula that commented that the baby is pink, which is kinda weird when we both black .
I didn’t react to that , one week after I decided to do that DNA test using those cheeks swap kits , I contacted a website and when the kits arrived she started to freak out and ran to her phone then she got back and told me that if I’m not the father she’ll pay me all the expenses I spent on her during pregnancy and that’s was the happiest time I the whole year when I got to know that I won’t be obligated to deal with her anymore and that’s she lied about the paternity. and the doctor was right when she told us the pregnancy happened before I meet her .
Meanwhile the results came confirming the paternity , I realised that I’m dealing with something bigger than me I faced her about what she told about her doubts that I’m father unlike the whole pregnancy time she just commented that she was frustrated!
That time I decided to do the test one more time without letting her know about it and somehow she was aware about that step and tried to stop me from doing that till I told her I’m going to court , the I did the test for the second time and the results was the same confirming the paternity and that’s only made me sure That I’m not the father and there’s a third part involved.
That time I decided to complete the paper work to get her U.S. passport as I know it would be different to ask for the baby’s right as a father of an American kid as I know the mentality in the Middle East and that’ll show up later , even though I tried to get in Touch with the American ambassador in Doha Mr. Timmy Davis about the whole DOP thing and my endeavours to get the right of that American kid .
When the mother Scheduled an appointment at the American embassy in Doha , she asked only for my passport and told me I don’t need to show up which was weird somehow and made me doubt that there’s someone is helping her there , after I gave her the passport the same day of the appointment she called me and told me I need to show up I attended the appointment and I noticed that she was repeating one word to the interviewer several time which I felt it was like a code or something.
That time I decided to be away from her and to gather myself to see how I’m going to deal with that matter as we don’t have the privilege to be traumatised .
A couple of months later she contacted me asking to finish the paperwork for the kid ID in Qatar and I told her that I’m going to deny her paternity, just after the World Cup she filed an annulment case requesting for child support and to complete the procedure for the baby ID .
I decided to hire a lawyer for that annulment case and informed them about the story that I believe that the baby isn’t mine, based on that the lawyer decided in our defence we will reject the case and ask for continuing the marriage which will make the judge refer the whole case to a 2 preacher men as per the law since the judge won’t listen to the whole defence , and during the preacher men sessions we can request a legal DNA test to performed by the court .
At the first session I informed the preacher men that I know that the tests have been manipulated since she lied about the paternity of the kid before marriage and that she was aware about my plans to do the test for the second time and here I showed the preacher men her photo on Facebook with the U.S. president mr joe Biden and her comment on the photo about the secret service ( check the blow photos)
She was shocked as it was her first time to know that I’m having access to her Facebook and I got such photo , the preacher men complete their report after our statements to send it to the judge .
The decided to terminate the marriage and they highlighted my request for A legal DNA , at the next session of the court her lawyer stated that there was a language barrier at the preacher men session then the judge decided to refer the case again to the same preacher men to define who’s guilty .
At the second session she was getting crazy about the photo I submitted to the court and told me that I’m not mentally stable and the should check my mental health which was funny to me from someone who don’t know the father of her kid or she just lied about the whole thing to give such advice , I replied to her if I mentally unstable I’d just broke your neck that moment you told me that’ll pay me money after confirming that I’m the father from the beginning.
The preacher men send their second report to the judge stating there we are both guilty and they mentioned that she don’t mind a DNA test which I believe was unexpected for her . And then they referred the case to the judge for the final verdict.
After that second report while waiting for the final verdict, I received a friend request in instagram from a man who looks like the kid and that man was having a mutual friend with me she was working as U.S diplomat in Qatar , also he has some of his friends who worked in the American base in Qatar he didn’t talk to me though.
The verdict came stating the annulment , child support and obligate me to complete the process for the kid ID also they rejected my request for the paternity test , so I decided to go for the appeal
During the appeal case I requested my lawyer to add the photo with the president and the comment to the case paper also I got from the hospital a medical report that show the pregnancy happened before our sexual intercourse . Anyway the court rejected the appeal confirming the initial verdict.-
At the same time I decided to file a denial of paternity case where I added this medical report hoping the court will show the spirit of the law since in local law denial of paternity law don’t consider the DNA test as a measure for that .
At the DOP session the judge check both statement , here I wanted the judge to confirm with her that the sexual intercourse that she claims the pregnancy happened was on November 13th 2021 and she confirmed that , at that time I highlighted to the judge the medical report which indicates that the pregnancy happened almost 2 weeks before that date .
The verdict came out to reject the DOP based on the letter of law .
At this time my journey in family court ended up , so that I decided to go for the public prosecution which exclusive jurisdiction to conduct criminal proceedings of laws and to accuse her of that the paternity tests were fraudulent since in the criminal law DNA result should be a solid evidence.
So I submitted a complaint to Public prosecution on the June 5 th 2024 which was the date when Qatar’s blockade happened seven years ago , and my complaint was rejected the I submitted a petition to the attorney general on June 18th 2024 and it was saved by Public prosecution.
Finally I requested to meet the attorney general on July 30th to put in his hands all details I didn’t talk about and I believe that should be my final move to get a fair trial in Qatar .
While being waiting to get the chance to meet the attorney general I’d like to talk about the time when I met her highness sheikha Moza Bint Nasser and tried to offer my complaint to her .
I was lucky to meet her highness so I decided to put in her hands my complaint especially I believe that if the mother lied about my paternity from day one that means she’s supported by lady from the university team .
Since the education team in Qatar used to work under the patronage of her highness I believe that expat from the former College of the North Atlantic team having a good connection with the people working with her highness to give such promise to the mother .
So , I decided to offer my complaint to her highness and just mention the possibility that the mother linked to the U.S President somehow but the security team of her highness took my letter and I believe it didn’t reach her highness.
The interesting thing that the mother knew that I tried to contact sheikha Moza on that day , which confirms all of my doubts.
Will update you once I get the chance to meet with the attorney general in Qatar the whole steps I took against her inside the local courts to deny the kid paternity after providing a medical report confirm that the pregnancy happened before we meet and the rejection of my DOP due to some laws in the family court
